Initially, he held the position of Head of the International Division.

Over the years, Francesco Starace has held several prominent roles at Enel. In 2002, he was appointed General Manager of Enel Green Power, the group's company focused on renewable energy. In 2005, he became Head of the Energy and Gas Division in Italy, while in 2008 he was appointed Head of the International Division.
