The history of De'Longhi begins in 1902, when Giulio De Longhi opened a small workshop in Treviso, where he produced wood stoves. Since then, the company has managed to innovate and diversify, launching successful products in the appliance sector. Among these are the oil radiator, the Sfornatutto electric oven, the Pinguino portable air conditioner, and the Nespresso and Dolce Gusto coffee machines. De'Longhi has also acquired other prestigious brands, such as Kenwood, Ariete, and Braun, expanding its product offering for the kitchen, home, and personal care.
The structure and governance of De'Longhi
The corporate structure of De'Longhi is based on four geographic segments: Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), North America (NA), Latin America (LATAM), and Asia Pacific (APAC). Each segment has its own budget responsibility and governance, coordinated by the headquarters in Treviso. The Board of Directors consists of 11 members, of which 6 are independent.
